KDM produces silencers (or suppressors, if you prefer) for rifles and handguns including cartridges ranging from 22lr to 500 S&W. Materials range from 7075 aluminum for some rimfire applications, 316 stainless for higher pressure cartridges, and some exotic materials for certain high pressure/high temperature/abrasive situations. Where possible, take-apart techniques are utilized to allow inspection and cleaning of the internal parts. This is necessary with the 22lr and other cartridges firing bare lead projectiles. Centerfire rifles can generally be considered “self cleaning”.
Rimfire silencers are 1/2″-28 direct thread; however, other thread pitches are available on special order. KDM’s standard Hugin 22lr offering utilizes 316 stainless for the tube/end caps and 7075 aluminum for the internals. Stainless internals can be substituted to allow use on 22mag and 17HMR. It can be disassembled for cleaning as needed. A brushed stainless finish matches a stainless firearm very well. Moly Resin baked on finishes are also available. Price: $250 Standard, $275 all stainless Magnum.
Centerfire rifle silencers, such as the 30cal one shown here next to its much smaller 22lr cousin, are composed primarily 316 stainless and the end caps are 100% TIG welded. Standard direct thread mounts will be 5/8″-24. Price is $495 for 30cal in 316 stainless with direct thread.
Unusual non-typical suppressors, such as large bore cans for cartridges such as 500S&W are spec’d and priced on request.
